Siberian larch

Siberian larch grows in areas where the temperature is often below 0 degrees for over six months a year. Siberian larch is therefore a very slow growing tree. This makes the hardness of this wood species high and so ideally suited, among others, for floor boarding. Siberian larch belongs to the top of the Pine family. The colour varies from straw yellow to reddish-brown. Dead (yet solid) knots can occur in Siberian larch.
